Feeling Sketchy Card Sketch #131: Spider Queen Card!!

Hey Everyone and happy Thursday to you all!! I'm back with a great card sketch challenge for the Feeling Sketchy blog! It's been pretty crazy around here with my craft room redo; so I was happy to be able to get away from the madness a bit to play along with this sketch.
Without further ado, here's the pic of Card Sketch #131:

Make sure to head over to the Feeling Sketchy blog to play along with us for your chance to win an awesome prize pack from our sponsor: Lacy Sunshine Stamps, 3 Digital Stamps.
Lacy Sunshine Stamps was gracious enough to let the Design Team members choose a few stamps from their collection to play with.
For my card I choose the Wicked Enchantress image, altering her appearance a bit to turn her into a "Spider Queen".
If I haven't already mentioned it before, I have a suffer from Arachnophobia.
Just typing the word in gave me the heebie jeebies. So why might you ask would I alter an image to reflect the thing I fear most? The answer is, I don't know. Maybe subconsciously I'm trying to get rid of this fear through my projects. But I wouldn't put myself in a room with a tarantula just yet. I still have a long way to go;  to be honest you couldn't get me in that room for a million dollars, just saying.
Well with all that said, here's the pic for you to check out:

The card base measures 4 1/2" x 5 1/2".
I cut a sheet of black card stock to 4 1/4" x 5 1/4" and adhered it to the card front.
I used a sheet of grey card stock cut down to 3" x 5 1/4" to create a pocket.
I drew some spiderwebs using a fine tip black marker along the edges and added stitch lines.
I used the scraps from the black and grey card stocks to make tags to fit inside the pocket.
For the grey tag I added stitch lines, a spiderweb, spider and the sentiment "Haunting".
For the black tag I kept the design the same except for the sentiment.
I punched holes along the tops and added some strands of grey twine.

Next I went to work on the image.
I colored her in using my alcohol markers and here's a rundown of the colors I used:
-Skin- FS9, Dusky Pink, R20
-Hair- C04, C06, C08
-Cape, Headpiece, Dress, Pillow and Crown- RV66, RV69, C04, C06, C08, C0, C02, C04

I drew in the spider legs behind her and used my C06, C08 markers to color them in.
I added a few extra details using some black gems and a fine tip black marker.
Next I fussy cut the image and added her to the card base using foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment, "Happy Halloween" on the inside using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and an Inkadinkado stamp set.

And ta-da!! Card complete!!

I hope you enjoyed this project for today!!
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your day, and peace!! :)
